The Deerstalkers' Association South Canterbury is one of New Zealand's longest standing groups.
We pride ourselves on the local infrastructure, safety standards and youth training programmes. We have a long running and close relationship with other local outdoor groups including the local tramping clubs, the South Canterbury Mountain Safety Council.
We hold regular shooting events, where members have the opportunity to hunt many of the varied animals in the area, including:-

Young HUNTS
The HUNTS Youth training scheme is a very successful programme that is being run in South Canterbury. It is a joint programme between the New Zealand Deerstalkers and the New Zealand Mountain Safety Council.
